Children sleeping in the home.Dear friends, as some of you may know a few months ago, EETEP aid was asked to visit an orphanage in Chennai, India run by Philip and Gladis Manickam. Last week we made this visit and were shocked by what we found; Chennai is hard to put into words but in this newsletter I will do my best to explain what I found in literally the worst place I have ever seen. June, 2007

Dear friends, we have just returned from another visit to Bosnia. We didn't do as much work as we would have liked but this was down to lack of funding and increased prices in Bosnia. We have, however, done our best with the limited funds we had. Read more »

November, 2006

Dear friends, It took a while but we finally raised enough money to go back to Bosnia, not only that but for the first time ever the charity has paid off the debts it ran up funding the work we have already done, so from now on we hope to raise the money first. This trip was about honouring the promises we have made to people in June. Bill Burras (who has supported us from the start) joined me on this trip to see for himself the work we have been doing and although money was as tight as ever, we did come through for everybody. Dear friends, well I have just got back from another trip to Bosnia. Although the trip went well, funding as usual is our main problem. Now I know I say this all the time, but I really do need help … if there is anybody who can help fundraising please get in touch. Dear friends, can I begin by saying a big thank you to Robin Thornber of Surrey street Glossop. Robin very kindly Created a page for EETEP on his Web site. He has done a great job of it and hopefully it will generate some interest from the public. Thanks a lot Robin, lets hope it will bring some help. Dear friends, I'd like to keep everybody up to date and I intend writing updates on a regular basis. The first thing I would like to talk about is the Bosnian sponsor fund that is now up and running. An account has been set up in England to collect payments and so far we are sponsoring a 72-year-old lady called Ramza and a family who have a Down's Syndrome daughter called Merima. Read more »
